Abstract

Journal issue dedicated to the phenomenon of memory in social studies. The issue is widely debated in historical, oral historical, psychological, psychoanalytic, visual studies. But narrowing the focus, dictated by the sociological approach has required the mapping of concepts of memory in its various connotations — historical memory, collective memory, social memory space, commemoration, etc., to denote the boundaries of the sociological approach.
